I just installed the Wilwoods on the front mount of the back brake and left the stock calipers on the rear mount as a parking brake. The hydraulics are not hooked up to the stock calipers and instead there is a fitting to allow the slave cylinder to breath normally but not gather dirt. The parking brake has in the past not released fully and I've just grown accustomed to not using it. While it all was apart, i tried to figure out why. The parking brake cable bracket on the caliper can be pushed back with some effort, but it does not move freely and the spring has little effect on it. Is that normal and if not, what might be the remedies? Thanks! I just installed the Wilwoods on the front mount of the back brake and left the stock calipers on the rear mount as a parking brake.
