Dear Larry, Right. My other Pantera has that modification. On my first attempt at DIY Pantera AC work, I decided to keep the same arrangement. Obviously, the rear right fender well works. Given my net surfing on AC drier insulation vs. no insulation, I found some AC authorities mentioning the same qualitative benefits with no quantification. I found one Ford truck gearhead discussion where one poster mentioned that he had "heard" an insulated drier was good for 3-5 degrees cooler air at the vents. I have found some Ford (!) insulation for the drier and I will press on.
