Good Morgan to POCA list,
I have about 5k on my engine rebuild. It has been running perfectly! I attended the Los Wages Fun Rally
and the drive there early Thursday morning was great! Did Mt Charleston on Saturday and Valley of Fire
on Sunday. No problems and things still running great. Sunday I did notice my oil gauge being a little wiggy.
Jumping around sometimes and sometime showing solid pressure.
Sunday I filled up and checked the oil before heading back. I added a quart and the gauge read solid 70. Overfill??
Drove back to Pasadena late Sunday night. Cool air and the traffic was light. Engine purred like a kitten.
I haven't driven it since then and last week saw a small coaster-size pool of oil under the car. I am planning
to getting it up on ramps this next week and check where I might have a problem. Any suggestions on what
things to check first? Oil pressure sending unit?
Thanks. More after I get under the car.
Terry
