Hi All, As a favor to me, and for the Pantera community, my good friend at Marvic Wheels in Italy has now made the DeTomaso Pantera 10x15 Campagnolo wheels in magnesium (as the original) and in both the Long and Short rib designs. He is also making the 8x15 fronts brand new in Magnesium as well. These are made and ready for sale. This is great news! Ed Side note: As far as tires, I know that Chip Foose had Pirelli make a run of 15” P7’s so possible we can get some of those as he didn’t use them.

Wheel Pantera GTS - Marvic Wheels
Pantera GTS - A real Italian-American story. In the late 60s, the Ford Company gave to the Italian De Tomaso the production of a high performance, mid-engined car, for the US market.
The intent was to counter the fame of Corvette in the USA (General Motors production) and to take advantage of the successes achieved in Europe by the GT40 in both sales and track.
Thanks to the agreement, Tom Tjaarda together with De Tomaso drew the body, reworking the technical scheme already experienced with the Mangusta. Gianpaolo Dallara had the daunting task of revolutionizing the steel backbone chassis frame of the prototype, to a less expensive steel monocoque: it was a specific request made by Ford in order to ensure a more competitive price with the rivals of the era.
A Ford 351 Cleveland engine powered by a huge Holley carburetor constitutes the finishing touches, along with self-ventilated brake discs, ZF synchronized transmissions and limited-slip differential.
