I still have an entry packet for car and occupants for concorso. I can't attend, so up for grabs. I'd like to get my cost back, $125.00 but is negotiable . Thursday - Tour d'Elegance in downtown Carmel - The Pebble cars go on a tour and stop for lunch in Carmel. It's a chance to mill around these gorgeous cars without the $360 entrance fee! Fun to watch them all pull out too when lunch is over. I like to then grab lunch at one of my favorite spots there. - Baja Cantina - Great eclectic show with everything from rat-rods and Frankenstein Studebakers to Ferrari's and Cobras, and everything in between. Friday - Laguna Seca - Vintage racing, or more correctly "qualifying." Wander the pits and admire the machinery. - PCNC Dinner @ Los Laureles Lodge in Carmel Valley - An excellent dinner with fellow Pantera brethren, not to be missed! Saturday - Concorso Italiano - Unfortunately, this one is now on Saturday and competes with the best day at the races. I'll go if anyone has a vacant passenger seat. Great show none the less! - Laguna Seca - Vintage racing! This is what it's all about... Seeing the cars in action, doing what made them legendary and so desirable today! - Garth's Trackside BBQ - Immediately following the races. Great time relaxing with friends instead of sitting in traffic. Sunday - Dawn Patrol - Show up at 0-dark-thirty in the cold fog to watch the Pebble cars roll in. This is supposed to be quite fun, but I understand the Pebble organizers are getting much more strict about security and enforcing that you have a ticket in order to be there "legally." I've planned to do this for years, but frankly haven't been able to get out of bed that early. - Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance - Presumably the premier concours event in the country (maybe the world). Go to the tour on Thursday and save the $360-$400. - Laguna Seca - More of why we're in Monterey that weekend! Vintage racing! I've occasionally gone to a couple of auctions, but only to look around, and if I have time.
