[DeTomaso] Fix a new delaminating windscreen?

I'm about to install a new windscreen that I've had in the attic for many years, and when I look at the edges, it has started to delaminate :( Is there a way to fix this, or stop it from progressing? I've asked a couple of car glass installers, and they said no, not as far as they know. I'm wondering if there is anything that one could wick in between the panes that would fill the void? It has not started discoloring. Supposedly good Finnish windscreen.
