I'd be really careful about using anyone else's measurements. Things have a way of drifting. If there are holes in the trunk insert, can't you get it centered and center punch through the holes into the body to position the fasteners? Someone welded and bogged mine over in order to paint the engine bay. Is there a difference between the model years? I could use the removable bit as a template but I am missing that as well.
