I know that this has been beaten to death in the past, but seeing the GT/4 car made me think... The Group 4 cars didn't use any sort of rear spoiler. I don't know what speeds they did down the Mulsanne Straight at Le Mans, but assuming they had the Le Mans Gear (it's called that for something, right???) they should have been well into or above the 165mph zone. Is a spoiler really necessary? If you really want to know what the scoop is, you politely listen to the anecdotal evidence and listen to what the real racers do... -----Original Message----- From: DeTomaso [mailto:detomaso-bounces@server.detomasolist.com] On Behalf Of Julian Kift Sent: martes, 23 de agosto de 2016 20:27 To: detomaso@server.detomasolist.com; mark skwarek Subject: Re: [DeTomaso] Rear spoiler Larry stock used a simple yet effective (according to him) spoiler that was attached to the lip of the decklid. He can probably provide more input and better photos. Bob Benson has probably the most functional one I have seen, that said I have no technical information to back up my statement.
