I'm running 10 on my work pc but have to hold off on all the home pcs due to incompatible programs. Some replacements aren't available yet and in other cases I will have to use VMs to run them. I want to be able to migrate on my own schedule. Asa Sent using Jedi Mind Tricks thomas <thomas@hax.se> wrote:
And here I tried to upgrade one of my VM:s to win10, only to be told that the version of VMware Fusion I use does not support win10 😜

Why do I feel like making a shortt joke here? Yes, I got the popup on one of my home machines and I usually just dismiss it until I have time to remove the KB update -again- (why does Microsoft keep overiding my wishes)... Except -this- time instead of dismissing it, it automatically scheduled the upgrade. I was like...WTF? I had to manually unschedule it. Now I'm fearful its automatically doing it to that home computer while I'm at work. Not cool. Asa Sent using Jedi Mind Tricks

We are a Manufacturing company that uses serial communications to all our machines that windows 10 donA^1t offer proper serial communications anymore since Microsoft figures that nobody uses serial communications, so why offer it. We are stuck with Widows 7 apparently. I got my son a lap top for his racing data logger that automatically upgraded to windows 10 last year and he lost everything. I had to buy a second laptop with the old Windows program for him to use and trash the first one. Maybe Microsoft needs to give us a choice before giving us all this new technology for free. This is going to screw up manufactures all over the country today.
