Another rust removal option: I have used Oxalic Acid (looks like salt) dissolved in water to get rid of rust on tools (like the rusty ones you find in tool kits). Just immerse them in a tray filled with the solution and leave them overnight. Do this outdoors .... or in a well ventilated area, and wear rubber gloves. Excellent results + cheap and easy to do. --Ed -----Original Message----- From: Mike Drew [mailto:MikeLDrew@aol.com] Sent: Saturday, June 11, 2016 10:30 PM To: detomaso@detomasolist.com Subject: [DeTomaso] Product review: Evapo-Rust Hi guys, I saw this product at Harbor Freight and it sounded too good to be true. Just dunk a rusty part in it and let it soak for a few hours, the rust gets gone with no scrubbing or sanding. Just rinse off with water. Costs $27 a gallon so I figured, what the hell? I grabbed a gallon and when I got home I treated an old rotor. Sure enough, it works like a champ! Check it out below...
