      I have been using RideCache for a few months.  The site is basically a place to store ALL information about your car including photos, receipts, maintenance schedules (it will give you reminders), resources, vendors and much more if you want to use it for that.   It is on-line so accessible from any computer and smartphone.
You can choose to make whatever you want private or public.

  them is drag and drop.  And, as Terry points out, no dumbing down.  And

  However, you need to be careful about free sites.  The dumb down your
  photos and there are ads.  Nothing is free.

  For a professional site where you have tons of space, a great interface
  and they will NOT touch your images you can try smugmug for $30/year.
  No ads, you can organize your space to  fit your taste and upload as
  may picture as you like in one shot.  Just a suggestion.

  That location (PI Forum - "Specific Car Photos") would be my
  recommendation - there are a lot of great builds on there already.

  There is one minor item to consider....  The PI forum typically only
  lets you add a single photo as an attachment.

  You would want to establish a place to archive your photos,
  PhotoBucket, Google Photos, etc., to link them to your thread if you
  want to put more than one picture per post.

  It's pretty simple to do, once you figure it out, and if you do it that
  way, people don't have to be logged in to see them (as they do for the
  PI Forum "attachments".

    All these are available and included for free in my Domain hosted
  with

    Dreamhost.  I've used MediaWiki (Wikipedia is based on this

    code) and WordPress.  Both excellent.  The "dotProject" looks very

    promising.

    Let me know if any of you would like me to continue to pursue any of

    these.  I don't want to waste everyone's time.  I can easily install

    them for everyone to play with.

      project progress coverage with photos and narrative . Check out

       Dreamhost.  I've used MediaWiki (Wikipedia is based on this
       code) and WordPress.  Both excellent.  The "dotProject" looks very
       promising.

         Totally agree with Chuck that the PI board is a great place for
       Pantera
         project progress coverage with photos and narrative . Check out
     some
       of
         the ones already there. ( under " Specific Car Photos " )  And

         remember to strengthen and participate in all our Great Pantera
         institutions such as " The Detomaso Registry,  " Pantera Place "
   ,
     "
         Banzai Runner Pantera " Etc .  The true Leaders and Heroes of the
         Pantera community have been quietly contributing for years , in
     many
         various ways . They do what they do ( which is to quietly
     contribute
       )
         for the purpose truly contributing and NOT for the purpose of
   self
         aggrandizement or to " appear " in the eyes of others to be a "
   big
